Jester King Black Metal hits shelves!

An update from Jester King Craft Brewery:

A small number of Black Metal 750ml bottles will begin making their way to Austin retailers tomorrow, and to those throughout the remainder of the state starting next week. The official statewide release of both Wytchmaker and Black Metal 750ml bottles will take place in approximately two weeks, once the current batches have fully conditioned. Cheers!

If you haven't had this yet, definitely try an locate it. Really good stuff!

Texas Independence Month Sale at Spec's

This month, Spec's is celebrating Texas Independence Month by having a sale on all Texas beers. They are having 'rock bottom' prices so be sure to get a couple of sixer's and support our Texas breweries. Don't forget March 2nd is Texas Independence Day which should be a national holiday, imo!

Saint Arnold Farmer Brown's Ale

Today the Draught House taps the highly acclaimed Saint Arnold Farmer Brown. The third beer in their Moveable Yeast series.I have a feeling this one will move through Austin faster than the previous two so go grab a pint while you can.

Real Ale Sisyphus Brewery Night

Go out and support Real Ale on Wednesday for the "buy the beer, keep the glass" night. They will be pouring their Sisyphus barleywine. Starts at 7pm. I have also seen it now on shelves at some HEB's around town if you can't make it out.

Flying Saucer Barleywine Week

The Austin Flying Saucer barleywine week is here and the lineup looks impressive. This style tends to "creep up" on you so drink carefully. Be sure to support local Live Oak brewery on Sunday!
